Shellem Cline is a nationally recognized Christian Country/Positive Message artist who has performed on the professional level since 2012. Cline began his career on a local level singing Gospel Music with his family, the Gilbert Family. In 2004 Cline’s grandfather Carl Gilbert was diagnosed with Crones Disease and shortly after, the family left the road. Since then, Shellem traveled on a regional level as a solo artist and in 2006, at the age of 18, saw an increase in his ministry and music career. Since his “professional” beginning in 2012, Cline has received multiple honors including: New Excelling Artist (2012), Young Excelling Individual of the Year (2013), Favorite Vocalist (2013), Songwriter of the Year (2014), Christian Music Forerunner (2014) and many nominations for other prestigious awards. Cline has also received 15 top 80 hits in the Christian Country industry, seven of which Cline was the writer. Currently to date, Cline has received five number one hits in Christian Country Music. Cline’s most popular hit, “Blue Jeans and Biscuits” came on the scene in October 2016, and worked its way to number 1 on the national chart for 2 consecutive months. The song also was awarded Christian Country song of the year in 2017 and won the Diamond Award for song and video of the year as well.

Cline stated in a press conference that “I feel that I need to use the talent that God has given me to reach a world that most people today forget about, a world that needs good news and encouragement. We are use to gathering at church and giving encouragement, inspiration, and the message of the gospel to the believers, but we often forget about the individuals outside of church that needs to hear the good news too.” Cline continued with “I feel that God is calling me to share humor, inspiration, and of course the message of hope in Christ to people that need it the most, the unbeliever.” With this being said, Cline has focused his music on not only the church, but those who would never set foot in the churchouse, the ones that need the message of Christ but is often forgotten about.

When attending an event with Shellem Cline, the audience will receive laughter, encouragement, and inspirational stories that will show them the message that he is trying to portray. With funny songs that talk about everyday life, to inspirational tunes that inspire an individual to be a better person, to the classic gospel songs, Shellem Cline can bring a message that is sure to touch lives. His unique ways of catching the attention of audiences all across the country has made him more than just an artist. Whether a festival, campground, church or other special events, Shellem’s number 1 goal is to use laughter, music, inspiration and testimonies to reach the lost for Jesus Christ!
