The Clifton Forge Arts Organizations, Businesses on Ridgeway, and C&O are celebrating American Craft Week with exhibits, demonstrations, performers, and displays. Here’s what’s happening every day at The Historic Masonic from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Stay tuned for more information and a schedule of events.
American Quilts and Needlecraft Display, WestRock Room, 2nd Floor Conference Room. A large selection of handmade quilts from Alleghany Highlands’ Quiltmakers, plus, a beautiful and varied selection of needlecraft including hand embroidery, smocking, and Hardanger embroidery.
Continuous self-guided Tours of all four floors of the 1905-Historic Masonic Theatre including a seven-minute video of the Craft of Renovation. Learn about the gathering of oral history of the area in the What’s Your Story? The exhibit–stories of the Alleghany Highlands featuring C&O Railroad and Green Pastures among others.
