During specific hours of the seminar, two quilt labs will be available in the Theatre auditorium. Nina McVeigh will show how to work with a medley of feet to achieve unforgettable quilting methods as well as finishing techniques, bindings and machine quilting. Gayle Hillert will demonstrate using machine stitches you may not normally use for quilting, including using the Embroidery/Quilt module. In addition, attendees will spend some time on the many variations of labeling your quilt to tell its story Machines will be set up in the WestRock room so that you may get hands-on experience with the lab techniques that you’ve been shown. Kaye, Nina and Gayle will be available throughout the Retreat to reinforce the medley of techniques shown with further harmonious instruction.
