Sunday, April 14 3pm
Join us for a heartwarming and inspiring evening with Here Come the STARS, a free variety show that showcases the incredible talents of 23 performers from STARS, a troupe of individuals with physical disabilities and/or intellectual challenges. Founded in 1996 by the Appalfolks of America Association, STARS has grown from a small group of ten performers to a vibrant ensemble of 29, all of whom bring passion and creativity to the stage.
Under the direction of Paula Crance and Sonya Romanello, our performers will light up the stage with a variety of acts that celebrate inclusivity and the arts. Chris Fisher will emcee the event, with Ben Nicely stepping in as a substitute emcee when necessary.
The show is proudly sponsored by the Town of Clifton Forge Town Council, City of Covington City Council, and Alleghany County Board of Supervisors, and we are excited to offer this special performance free to the public.
Don’t miss this unique celebration of talent, creativity, and community. Come support STARS and enjoy an unforgettable night of entertainment!
