General

Where is The Masonic Amphitheatre located?

The Masonic Amphitheatre is located at 510 Main Street, Clifton Forge, VA 24422. See our Plan Your Visit page for more information.

What are the hours of operation for The Masonic Amphitheatre?

The Masonic Amphitheatre is a Dawn to Dusk facility, except during events. Our Administrative Office is open inside The Historic Masonic Theatre Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. If you have specific questions, please contact us at 540-862-5655

Are there ‘real’ bathrooms available?

Yes. Bathrooms for Amphitheatre patrons are now available in the lower level of The Historic Masonic Theatre, located beside the amphitheater grounds.

Event-Related

What time do doors open for each event?

For most performances, the grounds open one hour before the scheduled performance time.

Can I bring food or beverage into the theatre?

The Masonic Amphitheatre offers light refreshments, soft drinks, beer, and wine before the performance and during the intermission. Typically, food and drinks are for sale on the Amphitheatre grounds or in the Underground Lounge. Cash, check and most major credit cards are accepted.

Can I take pictures or shoot video during the performance?

Sorry, unless otherwise noted before the event begins, photography of any kind is prohibited during performances. No audio or video recording is permitted for any performance.

Can I smoke on The Masonic Amphitheatre grounds?

Smoking is prohibited everywhere on The Masonic Amphitheatre grounds except for designated smoking areas. "Smoking" means (1) lighting or burning any type of tobacco, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, cigarillos, and pipes (2) lighting or burning of non-tobacco plants, incense, spice (or spice like product), or marijuana; and (3) using electronic cigarettes.

Parking

Is there a charge for parking?

Parking is on-street and in nearby lots and is free for all event guests. See our Plan Your Visit page for more information.

Where is your handicap parking?

A limited number of designated handicap parking spaces including van-accessible spaces are available on Main Street and behind the theatre using the Church Street entrance to the alley beside the Masonic Amphitheatre. These spaces are for vehicles displaying a current state issued disability placard or license plate. Spaces are filled on a 'first-come' basis.

Where is the designated drop-off area?

Drop-offs may be done at the front of the Amphitheatre grounds on Church Street.

Ticketing

How can I buy tickets to Masonic Amphitheatre events?

Tickets for events at The Masonic Amphitheatre are available online at www.historicmasonictheatre.com , by Phone at 540-862-5655, and at the Box Office in the main lobby of The Historic Masonic Theatre.
The Historic Masonic Theatre Box Office Hours are Monday — Friday 10:00am — 3:00pm. Tickets are also available at the box office the night of the show. All tickets are general admission.

Does my child need a ticket?

Children 5 years of age and up must have a ticket for most events. Children under 5 without a ticket must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. Please refer to event page for event-specific policy.

I haven't received the tickets that I ordered online. What can I do?

Call our Box Office at 540-862-5655. You will need your confirmation number or credit card used to purchase tickets. If your tickets have been lost in the mail, we can resend your tickets or code them for pickup at will call at the Box Office. The party who placed the order will need to present a picture ID at the box office to pick up the newly reprinted tickets. Original tickets will be voided and no longer valid

I want to give my tickets that I purchased to someone else.

If your tickets are to be picked up at Will Call, an alternate pick up name can be added to your account, which authorizes us to give the tickets to someone other than the account holder. Call our Box Office at 540-862-5655 and request an alternate pick up name be put on your account.

Are there any discounts?

Many of our events are free or offered at a very reduced rate, where applicable, discounts may be offered on an event by event basis.

What is your refund policy?

We do not give refunds to single ticket buyers.

Do you have handicapped and wheelchair accessible seating?

The main Amphitheatre walkways are paved with gravel. Wheelchair access is available via the sidewalk directly onto the Amphitheatre grounds and using the Amphitheatre’s paved side alley. Accessible bathrooms are located in the lower level of The Historic Masonic Theatre and are easily accessed using the Amphitheatre’s paved side alley.

What items are prohibited from entering The Historic Masonic Theatre?

These items include but are not limited to: illegal weapons, illegal drugs, laser pointers, and alcoholic beverages.

Miscellaneous

Do you have a dress code?

No, we do not have a specific dress code. Though we definitely require shirt and shoes, we do not enforce a strict code. For most performances, casual attire is considered appropriate.

Does The Masonic Amphitheatre have ATMs?

We do not have an ATM at The Historic Masonic Theatre. The closest ATM is located across the Street at SONA Bank. The Historic Masonic Theatre accepts check, MasterCard and Visa.

Are there any restaurants located near the theatre?

Where is the lost and found located at The Masonic Amphitheatre?

Lost and found is located at the Box Office tent during performances and in the box office inside The Historic Masonic Theatre after the event.
